Meeting Highlights:
Mike Worden of the Sheriff’s Office tells the commissioners that the Morgue/Sheriff's Office Storage Building project is nearing completion.
The commissioners certify the levy votes for the Oroville Rural and Tonasket EMS Districts.
County Engineer Josh Thomson says that Congress is again considering a vote on the SRS (Secure Rural Schools) funding for 2025. The fund also provides money for county roads.
The commissioners hold an executive session for 15 minutes under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)—potential litigation, and invite Albert Lin (County Prosecutor), Teddy Chow (Prosecutor’s Office), Esther Milner (Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor), Sheriff Budrow, Jodie Barcus (Chief Criminal Deputy) and Shelley Keitzman (Human Resources and Risk Management).
