Elections Bureau gets budget supplement of $17,000 from contingency reserve to pay for election, voter registration, repairs and maintenance costs.
Noxious Weeds receiving $76,968 from Title II and state funds to cover professional service grants, office operating and supply costs
Clerk Lanie Johns announces that the $800,000 from Department of Historical Preservation (DHP) for the third floor of the courthouse comes with a 47% hard cash match requirement; the DHP is taking $18,343 for administrative fees.
Discussion of salary grade hikes for workers who handle grants as well as other duties after Juvenile Services’ (granted) request to up the grade of an employee who will be overseeing over $1M in grants, Commissioner Hover tells Commissioner Timm it’s not a question of “fair” but of “what they do”; they’ll add a stipulation that when and if this grant goes away, the position will revert to the grade it was before
