Meeting Highlights: 

  • The commissioners expect the three EMS levies to fail because the total vote in each race won’t reach the threshold of 40% of voters in the last general election. They plan to put the levies on the ballot again for the February Special Election.

  • Josh Thomson, County Engineer, expects major cuts to the Roads Budget for 2026. The annual payment of approximately $750,000 from the Forest Service’s SRS (Secure Rural Schools) program may not be funded by Congress anymore.

  • Meeting adjourned at 11:06.
