Meeting Highlights:
Commissioners Hover and Neal discuss a recent Farm Bureau meeting that Commissioner Hover attended. The discussion at the meeting centered on the recent fires in the county and firefighting efforts.
Commissioner Hover and Neal discuss cost cutting strategies they may use to balance the county budget, knowing that the levy lid lift wasn’t approved. Commissioner Hover references a video of him discussing the county’s budget in July at a meeting at the Methow Community Club.
The commissioners and Pete Palmer, Planning Director, discuss a recently enacted state law allowing for the burial of human remains on private property.
