08.04.2026 Tues AM BOCC
Meeting Highlights:
· The commissioners discuss spending $16,000 for panels and other equipment for a new arena at the Fairgrounds. They’ll use some of the money being earned by renting part of the grounds for the current fire camp.
· The commissioners set aside time next Monday to discuss the possibility of a second try for a levy lid lift in November. They feel that by Monday, most of the ballots from the Aug. 4 election will be counted, and they can make plans.
· Kent Kovalenko, Solid Waste Manager, updates the commissioners about the county’s transfer stations.
· Meeting adjourned at 11:35.
