Meeting Highlights:
Fairgrounds Manager updates on the new well at the fairgrounds, and other projects
10 minute closed session for Union Negotiations
Discussion on the Revisions to Title 17.290 the Cannabis Moratorium, zoning considerations, growers not keeping up with permitting regulations, police calls, electricity usage, and associated problems with the cannabis grows and distribution. This discussion included the Planning Director and Law Enforcement. More work sessions planned.
Also, Planning Director brought up illegal Bitcoin operations happening in the County, along with Crypto Machines.
