05.13.2025 Tues AM BOCC
Meeting Highlights:
Linda Pierce, Tammy Tatum, Kylie Corne and the commissioners discuss setting up a procedure to deal with animals being abused. A temporary shelter for animals in need of a foster home is included in the discussion.
The fairgrounds received no bids for its water line project. Nick Bates, Fairgrounds Manager, now thinks they’ll be able to do the project in-house.
During his weekly update, Josh Thomson, County Engineer, reports that a backhoe was stolen overnight from the Tonasket crew last week. It was insured, and Public Works is looking at used backhoes to replace the stolen one.
