04.18.22 AM - BOCC

Meeting Highlights:

Commissioner Branch discusses the Forest Collaborative and how it tries to find consensus on issues. Even though consensus building takes time, it saves money and time in the long run by avoiding litigation.
Mike Fort of the Water Conservancy Board asks the BOCC for several thousand dollars per year to cover costs not covered by the application fees the Board charges. He’d also like the Board to meet annually with the BOCC to discuss costs for each upcoming year.
Naomie Peasley updates the BOCC on work being done at the Fairgrounds.
