Meeting Highlights:
Joe Simonsen tells the commissioners about two new homeless camps with multiple junk cars. He’s concerned about leaking fluids contaminating the aquafer. He and the commissioners discuss possible remedies.
Pete Palmer, Planning Director, also discusses homeless camps and unpermitted junk yards with the commissioners.
Nick Bates, Fairgrounds Manager, says the design for the new irrigation system at the fairgrounds is almost complete.
Mike Beaver and Kathleen Descoteaux of Juvenile Services update the commissioners on the Reentry Initiative.
