Meeting Highlights:
3-17-25 Note: This issue is being investigated for clarity and will be updated when the facts are known. (The county opens up the only bid received for the Legal Newspaper of Record contract. It’s a joint bid by the Methow Valley News, an independent newspaper and the Okanogan County Tribune Gazette owned by Sound Publishing.)
Christina Woodworth of Search and Rescue (SAR) asks the commissioners to spend SAR’s Title III money on diving equipment for water and ice rescue and recovery instead of spending it on a 4-seater side-by-side it originally planned to buy. The commissioners agree.
Cari Hall, County Auditor, reports that she’s making progress in adopting MUNIS, the new accounting system. EDEN, the old system, sunsets at the end of this year.
Josh Thomson, County Engineer, gives the weekly Public Works update.
