To meet April deadline for implementation, Board approves Res. 2025-03, on-site sewage regulations; new feature is using nitrogen table to determine land size requirements; outhouses for 60-day yearly occupancy maximum; enforcement “complaint driven”; mandated home sale inspections for 2027, employee training necessary
New permitting software–Trimble– would provide “public-facing portal”, cost $17,000 for six-year contract
Community Health director says school nurses interested in having overdose treatment available and receiving training; one school has policy in place, has used it
Medical officer’s “bright spots”: better data collection, EMS services providing buprenorphine for initial overdose treatment; WA led most of country in Jan.- Feb. influenza stats, county led the state; two measles cases in state, mostly dangerous for infants, vaccine and booster recommended
Administrator frustrated at temporary halt in flow of information since government changes, present and future cuts in funding, hopefully only 10%
