"The people, in delegating authority, do not give their public servants the right to decide what is good for the people to know and what is not good for them to know. The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created." RCW 42.30.010
Okanogan County Commissioners' Meetings
The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meets on Monday, Tuesday, and sometimes Wednesday of each week at the Commissioners' hearing room at the Virginia Grainger building in Okanogan. County Watch volunteer citizens listen remotely to these meetings and post notes with time stamps at countywatch.org to accompany the county's videos at at https://okanogancounty.org/avcapture.html. Our time stamps will assist you in seeking the sections of the videos you wish to see.
County Watch summaries, notes, and time stamps for videos & recordings of Commissioners' meetings: These are posted weekly for the previous week on our new "Commissioners and Board of Health Meeting" page (see above list of pages) to assist you in finding information on each week's proceedings.
Commissioners' Weekly Agendas and Minutes: The Commissioners' weekly agenda is normally posted on the Commissioners' website by the weekend before and changes during the week.
