Meeting Highlights:
· Agenda change: precinct redistricting rescheduled to next week
· Risk Management update: MOUs with union employees, approval of admin leave.
· Public Comment: Comments on precinct redistricting, Omak library safety issues, violation of county noise ordinance.
· County Fair update: discussion about details of upcoming fair – cost of hay, scheduling conflict, participation in specific events.
· Fairgrounds update: status of wells, grant priorities, tree removal
· OCSO Update: Construction is on schedule for new morgue/sheriff storage building; budget details for new radios.
· Maintenance update: HVAC repairs on Ringhoffer building.
· Planning Dept update: new Hearing Examiner contract; meeting with Okanogan Land Trust; updating 911 addressing; logistics of changing criminal penalties in County Code to civil penalties.
· Public Works update: chip sealing almost done; gravel testing; new vault toilet installed; JT appointed as WA state rep at National Association of County Engineers; discussion about which services to cut as budget decreases; status of SRS funding.
